ReMake The Future:
A Repair + Upcycling Extravaganza

Join us at Remake the Future, where our fix-it fair experts will patch an old pair of jeans, fix a desk drawer, repair your radio, change your bike tire, sharpen your knives for FREE, and more! Additionally, sign up for a workshop, each offering a variety of skills from basic sewing, to how to recycle right. In between workshops and repairs, make sure to check out everything else this event offers, such as our craft and bake sale, tabling by local organizations, games, and hands-on activities. Lastly, remember to stick around for our drawing to see if you win any fun prizes. Bring your family and friends for an incredible and memorable experience!

Fix-It-Fair

Stop by anytime from 10 AM - 2 PM to get your household items repaired!

From replacing your bike tires to fixing torn clothes, the fix it fair can meet your repairing needs for free! Below are all of the fix it fair stations as well as examples of items that can be repaired.​

*While the repair is free, some specialized parts/materials required for the repair may not be available. In this case, professionals will provide you with information on any items you may need to purchase separately, and instructions on completing the repair on your own.

Knife Sharpening

Ends at 1 PM

*Limit 2 knives repaired for FREE per person

Sewing/Textiles

Torn clothes/seams, patching holes, missing buttons

Carpentry

Wooden or plastic hoursehold items including chairs, drawers, etc.

Electronics

Small electrical appliances, audio equipment, lamps, computers,

Bicycles

Replacing inner tubes/tires, adjusting brakes, tightening pedals, replacing brake pads/pedals, adjusting seats, basic gear tune up
