BLAST Champion
Are you a high school teacher in an Aurora, Naperville, Bolingbrook, Wheaton, Glenbard, Downers Grove, or nearby school district? Do you want to help your students get the opportunity to create environmental solutions? Then please help us spread the word about BLAST.
What is a BLAST Champion?
A BLAST Champion is a high school teacher who agrees to publicize the BLAST program in their school and support any students participating in BLAST from their school.

Responsibilities:

Publicize the BLAST program within your schools by sharing promotional materials from the BLAST Champion Toolkit (see below) with teachers, administrators, and students.

Track student participants from your school and be a resource for those students.

Remind students about approaching deadlines.

Attend at least 4 virtual meetings between mentors and students in the capacity of chaperone to ensure student safety.

Optional: help with fundraising through outreach, networking, or fundraising events.
